The goal of these two patterns was to highlight the women of Star Wars and give our female customers a character they could relate to in the fandom. 

A fun pattern inspired by the trends of popular fruits on plaid. Designed to be in Walmart retail stores

Based off the idea of the start of something as the caterpillar is the start of a butterfly. I sketched out differing poses a caterpillar would make and I played with layering two patterns. 

Came from how I would spend my childhood summers looking for crabs and shells to take home. This was the first pattern where I created a spot illustration rather than a pattern for the bandanna. 

Was inspired by my interest in bats and how they move when they fly. I experimented with having a wider color palette than I was used to. It inspired a new pattern approach that steered away from pure silhouttes
